Arsenal back in training ahead of Hull match as Arsene Wenger celebrates his 20th anniversary in charge of Gunners
ARSENAL players seemed in good spirits as they trained on Arsene Wenger's 20th anniversary at the club.
The Gunners boss, 66, took over in 1996 and will be hoping for three points when his side travel to Mike Phelan's Hull on Sunday.
Arsenal fought back in midweek to secure a point at Paris Saint-Germain in their opening Champions League group game.
And now the attention turns back to the Premier League - where the Gunners are unbeaten in three since losing to Liverpool at home on the opening day.
Petr Cech will return in goal after David Ospina took over between the sticks against PSG - but he ruled out any more major changes.
Wenger said: "Cech will be back.
“I have two world class goalkeepers and for the day I chose Ospina and he had an outstanding game.
“You cannot keep it where one of them does not get a game. You have to give them games in big competitions.
“There will not be many other changes.”
Phelan has had a superb start to his time at Hull and has been offered the job on a permanent basis.
But the Tigers chief was full of praise for Wenger ahead of what will be their biggest test of the season so far.
Phelan said: "He brought a new philosophy to the Premier League when he came to Arsenal and treated English football to things we hadn't seen before.
"But not only did he introduce so many new methods, he also stayed true to his principles.
"He deserves great credit for doing that, and I don't see any reason why they can't win the title again this season."
