MANCHESTER UNITED have reportedly missed out on signing Ajax star Ryan Gravenberch.
That’s because the Dutch midfielder has agreed a deal to join Bayern Munich this summer.
claims Gravenberch, 19, has turned down the opportunity to head to Old Trafford.
His Ajax boss Erik ten Hag is the favourite to replace Ralf Rangnick in the United hot seat.
And reports claimed the tactician was keen on bringing Gravenberch with him.
However, it’s now reckoned the playmaker will be announced as a Bayern man instead.

They reportedly won Gravenberch over by presenting him with a ‘convincing plan’.
And he will now head to the Allianz Arena, leaving United empty-handed.
Gravenberch already has 11 goals and 13 assists for Ajax in almost 100 games, having made his Eredivisie debut aged just 16.
United had been looking at him as a potential replacement for out-of-contract Paul Pogba.

And one man who believes there are huge similarities is former Ajax coach Brian Tevreden.
He said: “Technically, I would say he’s a better version of Pogba in his best days at Juventus, in terms of his technique and his presence on the pitch.
“He’s very dominant like Pogba was, and that’s what I see in Ryan.”
