Top 20 highest earners in Ligue 1 revealed with Neymar taking home MORE than Lionel Messi in eye-watering wages

NEYMAR is the highest-paid player in French football ahead of Paris Saint-Germain team-mates Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe.

The monthly wages of Ligue 1 stars have been revealed with PSG the best paid club as they boast 18 out of the top 20 highest earners.

The futures of Neymar and Messi are in question after they were booed by their own fans following their Champions League exit at the hands of Real Madrid.

Completing the top ten are Georginio Wijnaldum and Gianluigi Donnarumma who take home £764k every month.

He pocks the same amount as Les Parisiens midfielder Ander Herrera, with Presnel Kimpembe [£534k] in 17th place.
