Watford 3 Manchester United 1: Jose Mourinho rages at United players AGAIN with officials also blasted as Red Devils slump to shock defeat
JOSE MOURINHO tore into his Manchester United flops AGAIN - with the officials also in the firing line after slumping to his third straight defeat.
Watford boss Walter Mazzarri made an ass of the Portuguese - who once called him a 'donkey' - as Marcus Rashford's strike proved in vain after the Red Devils went down 3-1 at Vicarage Road.
Strikes from Etienne Capoue, Juan Camilo Zuniga and a Troy Deeney penalty ensured United slipped six points behind rivals and table-toppers Manchester City.
And it means Mourinho has now started this season with a WORSE Prem record than former boss Louis van Gaal did last time around.
Mourinho blasted his players after their derby defeat to City and again when the lost to Feyenoord in midweek.
And he vented fury at his players for the Watford capitulation- and the officials for failing to award a free-kick for a foul on Anthony Martial in the lead up to Capoue's opener.
Mourinho raged: “I am always concerned when we don’t get the results we want, so that’s obvious.
“I think there is no debate and no controversy (over the offside) -an obvious situation like it was last week against Man City but I cannot control it or be critical of it.
“I wasn’t really happy in the first half. For about 25 or 30 minutes we didn’t play well and that’s something that we can control and improve.
“But the referee and linesman mistake is not under my control. I can do nothing to improve it.
“We were better in the second half and we got the draw and Gomes makes a phenomenal save and the luck is something that we cannot control.
“The only thing we can control is out individual mistakes and our collective mistakes in.
“Their second goal for example is an individual mistake because we have to press the wing-backs outside the box and not let them take advantage of being one against one in the box.
“And another individual mistake because we know their midfield players arrive in the box.
“Again, the referee and luck I cannot improve. She will arrive when it’s the right moment."
