Robert Lewandowski set to snub Real Madrid advances and sign new deal at Bayern Munich
Poland star set to land new contract and increase his wages to around £13m-a-year
ROBERT LEWANDOWSKI could soon be putting speculation over his future to bed by penning a new contract at Bayern Munich.
The Poland striker had been reluctant to extend his current contract, which expires in the summer of 2019, because Real Madrid were believed to have been interested.
It is believed the 28-year-old is set to earn around £13million a season.
And Lewandowski is certainly proving why he is one the deadliest strikers in world football with a scintillating start to the new season.
He is the Bundesliga top scorer with five goals in his opening three games, adding to the one he scored in the Champions League against FC Rostov.
New boss Carlo Ancelotti is already breaking records at the Allianz Arena.
His side have had the best ever start to the club's illustrious history with six wins from their opening six matches.
