Chelsea loanee Tammy Abraham has the world at his feet, says Bristol City boss Lee Johnson

Chelsea loanee tipped to reach the very top after teen star nets his ninth goal of the season

TAMMY ABRAHAM has the world at his feet and could easily be leading the line for Chelsea this season, according to Bristol City boss Lee Johnson.

The young striker moved to Ashton Gate this summer on a season-long loan from the Blues and has exploded onto the scene at the Robins.

Abraham, aged 18, came off the bench to net the winner in the 2-1 victory at Fulham in the EFL Cup on Wednesday.

That strike was his ninth goal of the season, and his City boss knows he has a diamond at his disposal.

Johnson said: “Tammy is the trump card and he carried the weight for us once again.

“The world is his oyster, he can do anything he wants.”

Abraham, who is an England Under-20 international, looks destined to reach the very top if his form for the Championship side is anything to go by.

Johnson has no doubts that his loanee hitman is ready to lead the line for his parent club in the Premier League.

But he offered some words of advice to the teen star.

He said: “He could go into Chelsea's team now, no doubt about that. The test will be, does he keep his feet on the ground?

“He needs to continue to love football and not be in love with being a footballer.”

Another youngster to impress at Craven Cottage for City was fellow England U20 ace Taylor Moore.

The defender was handed his debut by Johnson, and despite giving away a penalty, he recovered to put in an impressive display.

And the youngster, who was signed from French side Lens last month, won high praise from his manager.

Johnson added: “Taylor Moore looked like Bobby Moore out there.”
