It took Mauricio Pochettino's men a red card for Kevin Danso and 68 minutes of play to find the back of the net.

Messi, who had only managed THREE Ligue 1 goals before Saturday's title decider, took one touch and sent a curling effort flying into the top left corner.

The wonder goal garnered cheers, much different to the reception PSG got as they trudged off for half-time.

Boos echoed around the spectacular stadium as they went into the break level.

Ten men Lens showed good fighting sprit.

And they grabbed an equaliser two minutes from time to keep their hopes of playing European football alive.

Substitute Corentin Jean got the goal, tapping home at the back post to stun the Parisian crowd into silence.

The valuable point keeps Lens 7th in Ligue 1 and keeps them in the hunt for Europe.

Fireworks were let off deep into added time up above the Parc des Princes.

The draw sealed a tenth league title and Messi's first in his debut season in the French capital.

Second placed Marseille have five games to play, but the 15 points would see them fall short of PSG by one.
