Chelsea loanee Juan Cuadrado walks out of Juventus training ‘in protest at lack of game time’

Colombian winger is yet to play a minute for Old Lady this season after deciding to return to Turin

JUAN CUADRADO allegedly stormed out of Juventus training in anger after being told he would not start against Cagliari.

The Chelsea loanee is yet to play a minute for the Old Lady since his deadline day switch.

Colombia star Cuadrado, 28, claimed he "did everything to force through his three-year loan deal.

But his return to Serie A has got off to a rocky start.

SkySports Italia claimed on Wednesday that after being told Dani Alves would start, he left pre-match training in disgust.

Juvtnus - who won 4-0 to go top of the league - later insisted Cuadrado's exit was down to personal reasons before  backed up the club's statement.

The winger was back in training yesterday aiming to reestablish himself after last year's successful loan switch.

Blues boss Antonio Conte wanted to keep him at Stamford Bridge to provide options in his squad.

But Cuadrado had other ideas after scoring five goals in 40 appearances in Turin last season.

The Italians are paying a loan fee of £4million per season and can buy him for £8.4m should they wish to make the deal permanent.
