GARY NEVILLE hilariously mocked himself after a tweet poking fun at Liverpool's Champions League capitulation backfired.

Taking a two-goal lead into the second leg of their semi-final against Villarreal, Jurgen Klopp's men were stunned in the first half as they went into the break level at 2-2 on aggregate.

And incredibly smug Man Utd legend Neville was quick to take to and post a clip of him laughing while sipping a glass of red wine.
