Sam Allardyce sacked: Ravel Morrison posts cryptic tweet after allegations he was dumped in West Ham reserves for refusing to sign for Big Sam’s agent

RAVEL MORRISON has posted  a cryptic tweet in the wake of Sam Allardyce's axing as England boss.

Allardyce is alleged to have dumped Morrison in the West Ham reserves for refusing to sign a new contract with Big Sam's agent Mark Curtis.

Both Allardyce and Curtis deny the allegations - which were first made in 2013 - but the claims have resurfaced after big sting that forced Allardyce to leave his job as England manager.

And Morrison today tweeted: "no 1 listened to a word I said."

Morrison, then just 20 years old, had made a breakthrough in the Hammers side, scoring a breathtaking solo goal against Tottenham in a stunning 3-0 win at White Hart Lane.

Big Sam allegedly promised to get him a new contract if the player dropped his representative and signed up with Curtis' agency, but when the player refused to do so, he was dropped from the starting line-up and put in the reserves.

The prodigious young player, who played in the same Manchester United FA Youth Cup-winning team as Paul Pogba, was dropped by then United boss Sir Alex Ferguson after a string of disciplinary problems.

And Big Sam was seen as the only man in the Premier League who could turn his flagging young career around.

After the incident, Morrison was loaned out to Queens Park Rangers and later to Cardiff City, making a combined 22 appearances in those two loan spells.

Both Allardyce and Curtis have denied the claims that after they first surfaced three years ago.

He said at the time: "There's not truth in the fact that I have sat with Ravel Morrison and tried to press him into signing anything with any agent, never mind mine."

Cardiff City are now conducting an investigation into a player transfer after auditors discovered evidence of unexplained payments over Morrison's laon in 2014.

The agent involved is allegedly Pino Pagliara, who is banned from conducting transfers - and has been using an intermediary in his stead.
