Jose Mourinho on Sam Allardyce: I feel sorry for him, I know that England was his dream job
JOSE MOURINHO has expressed sympathy for Sam Allardyce in his darkest hour, saying: "I feel sorry, I know it was his dream job."
The Portuguese - who was taking his press conference ahead of Manchester United's Europa League tie against Zorya Luhansk - also siad that it would not effect his relationship with the former Hammers boss.
Allardyce today made claimed that he was the victim of entrapment, before flying off to his mansion in Spain.
But Mourinho has come up against Big Sam several times in his career in England and has struck up a friendly rivalry with the embarrassed 61-year-old.
Mourinho said: "The only thing I can say is that I like Sam. I feel sorry for him because I know that was the dream job.

"And I feel very sorry for it, the second thing I can say is that what happened is not going to interfere in any way with my relationship with him.
"I liked him and respected him before and that is not going to change.
"The third thing is that this is between him and the Football Association and I have nothing to say on that."
