Premier League winner odds 2022/23: Man City’s title price ‘shortest of any team this season’ after Arsenal rout
MANCHESTER CITY'S Premier League title odds are now the shortest that any side has been this season.
That's according to bookmakers , who've priced Pep Guardiola's reigning champions at 1/20 now to successfully defend their title after their thumping win over Arsenal.

That's in from 1/5 prior to the Etihad meeting, where Arsenal had eased to 3/1 before that contest.
But after a toothless display at the Etihad - off the back of three successive draws - Mikel Arteta's men are now 17/2 to win the title this season.
It's between these two with Newcastle (500/1) and Manchester United (500/1) some way behind.
It's been an incredible collapse from the North London side, having been in a strong position.
They did well to recover a draw at home to Southampton recently, having fallen 3-1 behind before two late goals.

Following on from chucking away 2-0 leads in successive games, they knew only a win would suffice in Manchester.
The 4-1 defeat and the performance that went with it showed a sizeable gap between the teams on the pitch, with the gap off it down to two points.
It's Arsenal that still top the table at present, though City have TWO games in hand.
The Gunners have a much tougher run-in on paper too.
They have an away tie against Newcastle and home encounters against Chelsea, Brighton and Wolves.
They also host Nottingham Forest before the season is out.
City have Brighton, Fulham, Everton and Brentford to travel to in a tough set of away fixtures, with home clashes against West Ham, Leeds and Chelsea to come.
They also have an FA Cup final against rivals United to look forward to, with more than one eye on a clash with Real Madrid in the Champions League semis.

"Meanwhile, the Gunners have drifted to 17/2 from 3/1 to win a first top-flight title since 2004.”
