Jarrod Bowen breaks silence over Love Island star girlfriend Dani Dyer engagement rumours after first England call up

WEST HAM star Jarrod Bowen has shut down rumours that he is engaged to celebrity girlfriend Dani Dyer.

The 25-year-old's private life has become a hot topic since going public with the former Love Island contestant earlier this year.

News of an engagement would be approved of by dad Danny, who is a huge fan of Jarrod and the pair are said to be "really close".

But Danny and Dani may have to wait a little longer for Bowen to pop the question.

Ahead of his potential England debut against Hungary on June 4, Bowen said: "No, people thought I was engaged but I don’t know where that came from."

Reports suggest a proposal could take place at some point this summer after he is done with international duty.

The Sun were told by an insider that Jarrod has already asked Hammers super fan Danny if he can marry his daughter.

An insider said: “Jarrod has just one game left of the season and then he’ll be getting some time off.

“The pair have lots planned for the summer, but Dani doesn’t know about one very special thing he has in mind.

“They are so loved up and everyone in the family is a big fan of Jarrod – particularly dad Danny.

“Jarrod and Danny are really close and he’s already asked him if he can marry her.

“It’s the happy ending Dani deserves and everyone is over the moon.”
