MARCUS RASHFORD is attempting to make a good early impression on Erik ten Hag by training hard while on holiday.
The Manchester United star, 24, is currently in the US and has shared some training footage from Portland, Oregon.
Rashford filmed himself practising sprints including one up a steep hill and posted some photos on which showed he was feeling the heat.
He captioned the post: "Just the start 💥."
Rashford seems determined to make a big impact from pre-season onwards having struggled last season.
He fell out of the United starting line-up and the England squad but the forward has a fresh start after the arrival of Ten Hag.
And the Dutchman will likely be pleased to see Rashford working hard in the off-season - as will Gareth Southgate.
Rashford has been included in both of Southgate's squads for the World Cup and Euros and the Three Lions boss is hopeful the 46-cap star can rediscover his form.

After dropping the United star in March, Southgate - who didn't include Rashford in his recent Nations League squad - said: “He [Rashford] is in the same position as everyone else. In the squad or out of the squad they all have to play well over the next period of this season and the beginning of next season.
“It’s a difficult time for him. He is clearly not at his best. There is plenty of time and we know what he can do and hopefully he can rediscover his form.”
Rashford's United team-mate Jadon Sancho also fell out of England plans at the same time and he too is preparing for big season coming up.
The former Borussia Dortmund star took a trip to Jamaica at the end of last month before jetting off to the States where he showed his 8.5 million Instagram followers his private jet.
