Devine, 17, played from the start as Aston Villa’s Carney Chukwuemeka also netted for Ian Foster’s Young Lions.

The former Liverpool youngster looked sharp in midfield as England threatened to break down the door.

And it was Spurs teammate Dane Scarlett who helped the team break the deadlock when he set up Chukwuemeka in the 43rd minute.

But the best was yet to come when Devine doubled England’s lead in the 65th minute.

Chukwuemeka embarked on an ambitious run across Austria’s penalty area, bamboozling defenders with his tricky footwork.

The ace picked up Devine perfectly, and the midfielder span around before lashing the ball past the goalie into the roof of the net.

It was certainly a remarkable finish from the lad billed as Spurs’ next big thing.

And it was Devine’s first strike in seven games for England’s U19s, with group games against Serbia and Israel still to come.

The teen will now be hoping for a crack at some first-team action with Spurs.

Devine became their youngest-ever player AND youngest-ever goalscorer when he netted in January’s 5-0 FA Cup win against Marine.

But boss Conte has already signed TWO midfielders since arriving in north London, with Yves Bissouma joining Rodrigo Bentancur this month.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Oliver Skipp are also ahead of Devine in the rankings.

And the ace may need to remain patient for one more season before getting his shot at regular action.
