Arsenal to complete £50m Gabriel Jesus transfer ‘in the next ten days’ – with Man City to put money towards Phillips
ARSENAL boss Mikel Arteta is reportedly set to bolster his attacking options by sealing the transfer of Manchester City's Gabriel Jesus in the next seven to ten days.
The Gunners are in desperate need of a striker or two and Arteta and Co are moving quickly to get their targets through the door.
There is growing confidence that the deal will be completed within ten days.
Jesus' arrival would follow hot on the heels of Fabio Vieira's confirmation.
The midfielder joined Arsenal from Porto in a £30m deal as Arteta looks to bolster his squad ahead of a push to return to the Champions League.

As for City, they're set to make a tidy profit on Jesus, who joined the club for £27m in 2017.
And boss Pep Guardiola plans to use the money to buy a midfielder to replace departing club captain Fernandinho.
The Athletic are reporting that City have reached an agreement with Leeds for 26-year-old Kalvin Phillips.
England international Phillips will cost City £42m with £3m in add-ons.

Leeds are already planning for life after boyhood fan Phillips.
The Whites confirmed the signing of Bayern Munich midfielder Marc Roca.
And reports suggest Leeds could explore boss Jesse Marsch's old connections at Red Bull to bolster his midfield options.
RB Leipzig midfielder Tyler Adams is being watched by the Premier League side.
Adams played under Marsch at New York Red Bulls.
