Mauricio Pochettino becomes eighth manager to beat Pep Guardiola more than once but who are the other seven?
Five of the remaining seven managers are managing or have managed in the Premier League
MAURICIO POCHETTINO became only the eighth manager to beat Pep Guardiola more than once on Sunday.
Tottenham were in sensational form as they inflicted Guardiola's first defeat as Manchester City boss thanks to an Aleksander Kolorov own goal and a strike from Dele Alli.
Pochettino's first ever match as a football manager came against Guardiola in January 2009 when relegation-threatened Espanyol met Barcelona in the Catalan derby.
Against the odds, Espanyol secured a point but he only had to wait a month later to beat Guardiola when his La Liga side produced a heroic 3-2 victory at the Nou Camp.
As Pochettino recorded his second victory over the Spaniard, he joins seven other managers to beat the City boss more than once - but who are they?
Jurgen Klopp
Played eight: Won four, lost four
During his time at Borussia Dortmund Klopp faced Guardiola eight times and managed to win half of their meetings including a 3-0 thumping over Bayern in the Bundesliga two years ago.
Klopp's four victories over Guardiola is more than any other manager and the two duo will meet once again on the final day of December.
Jose Mourinho
Played 17: Won three, drew five, lost nine
The duo have a long-standing rivalry stemming from Mourinho's time at Real Madrid and their personal duel continued this season when Guardiola's Man City secured a dramatic 2-1 victory at Old Trafford.
Mourinho's first victory came in 2010 when Inter Milan defeated Barcelona 3-1 in the Champions League before securing another two victories whilst with Real Madrid.
Arsene Wenger
Played eight: Won two, drew two, lost four
Guardiola has had the upper hand on Wenger in half of their matches including the 2006 Champions League final.
But the Gunners boss did create some sort of history against Guardiola, by becoming the first manager to beat his Barcelona and Bayern Munich teams in the Champions League.
Carlo Ancelotti
Played two: Won two
