It was reported that the 31-year-old could be set for Turkish side Galatasaray but now that transfer appears to be off.

Italian website claim that Ramsey has his heart set on a return to the Premier League.

The Welshman has not played regularly on English soil since he left the Emirates in 2019.

Ramsey's inconsistent three year spell with Juventus has seen look set to leave on a free transfer.

The club are keen to offload his £400k wages from their financial books.

A short stint on loan at Rangers in the second-half of last season saw the midfielder fail to revive his fortunes.

Since then, Ramsey has been to boyhood club Cardiff City.

Reports also suggested he could be in line for a move to the MLS, following in the footsteps of his countryman Gareth Bale who joined Los Angeles FC.

If Ramsey was to make a Premier League move, he may attract interest from the newly-promoted pair of Fulham and Nottingham Forest.

Both clubs are believed to be in the market for a midfielder, and have been linked to Lille's Yusuf Yazici.

Bookies odds have also suggested Vincent Kompany's Burnley or Frank Lampard's Everton could be interested in Ramsey.
