VETERAN Leon Osman is ready to sign for Bolton to help them out of a nosedive.
The former Everton midfielder is a free agent and willing to agree terms with Phil Parkinson's club.
Osman was hoping to find a home by now but is still available. And Wanderers need extra bodies after their promotion push faltered.
Many Wanderers have voiced their discontent at new boss Phil Parkinson's style of play and team selections following the club's recent decline.
After a promising start that saw Wanderers sitting pretty at the top of League One, they are now without a win in seven league games, and have slipped to eighth.
Worryingly for Parkinson, his side haven't scored in their last five games.
The summer was all change at the Macron Stadium, as Parkinson walked out on fellow League One rivals Bradford City to take on the new challenge.
But despite retaining many players with bags of Championship experience, the likes of David Wheater, Mark Davies and Jay Spearing, there appears to be work to do for Parkinson to transform the club's fortunes.
