Liverpool’s Daniel Sturridge needs to improve decision-making to be world class, says Ryan Giggs
Manchester United icon says England and Liverpool ace needs to be cleverer to make it as a 'top, top player'
DANIEL STURRIDGE will not become a world class striker until his decision making improves, according to Ryan Giggs.
The forward fired a blank as he was deployed as a lone frontman during England’s disappointing stalemate in Slovenia.
Three Lions boss Gareth Southgate may have been celebrating more than just a point had the Liverpool star been a bit more dynamic up top, says Giggs.
“I played with Sturridge at the Olympics [in 2012 for Great Britain],” said the Manchester United legend on ITV.
“He has everything. He's got a good touch, good finisher, he's quick, he can run the channels but to be a top, top player... decision-making.
