A STUNNING model has told how she got football star Cristiano Ronaldo seeing double - as the astonishing lookalike of his ex Irina Shayk.

Beautiful Kristina Peric, 20, has told how she was introduced to the Real Madrid forward and Portugal captain by a makeup artist who thought she looked like Shayk.

Intriguingly, the meeting came while Ronaldo was going through a crisis in his five-year romance with the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Irina.

She later blamed the player's confession on sending "flirty texts" to other women.

Irina, 30 - and now dating Hollywood star Bradley Cooper - reportedly told one friend: "Now I know the truth and I feel completely betrayed."

She added: "I trusted him and stuck up for him when there were rumours he had been with other women. I feel stupid that Cristiano fooled me."

Now it has emerged that at the same time, Ronaldo had been introduced to Serbian born stunner Kristina.

She explained: "The first time this makeup artist David saw me, he said, 'I have to introduce you to Ronaldo.

"You and Irina look almost identical - and I am sure he is going to like you."

Kristina - 11 years Ronaldo's junior - said that she and the star "formed an instant bond".

She said: "Ronaldo is not burdened by his money and fame. He behaves like a normal guy from the hood."

Kristina added: "Unfortunately we didn’t have the chance to spend more time together, because he was in a hurry, and I had to leave for some work in Miami.";

Discreetly, she does not say whether the pair met up again - or whether she was at the heart of his break up with Irina.

Kristina is about to sign as an Angel for lingerie giants Victoria's Secret.

In one recent photoshoot for local media she appeared in erotic pictures with Serbian singer Milica Pavlovic.

The singer said: "I have to say that is very nice to touch a Victoria’s Angel."

Kristina added: "I think you'll agree with me that we didn't need a man for these photos."
