The Real Madrid superstar, whose relationship with the stunning model ended a year ago, has liked two of her Instagram pictures in the past few days.
And given his previous form, it has fuelled rumours that CR7 wants to edge his way back into her good books.
But the Portugal superstar Ronaldo has been linked to a long list of attractive women, including a former Miss Spain and beautiful Victoria’s Secret model Kristina Peric who looks a LOT like Shayk.
Meanwhile Russian supermodel Shayk has moved on with her life too with Hollywood actor Bradley Cooper, while wowing on red carpets around the globe.
But just because they are no longer together, it doesn’t mean all contact has ended - and women have stated before that Ronaldo likes to initially make contact on Instagram.
He reportedly once asked Brazilian model Aline Lima for "gym selfies" on Instagram, and when she told Cristiano that she was in a relationship, the Portuguese star reportedly told her that her boyfriend didn’t need to know.
Is Ronaldo trying to recapture his old flame, or just very much in the friendzone? Who knows…
