Boubacar Kamara: Chelsea join chase for Marseille’s teenage whizkid defender with French giants Paris Saint-Germain

CHELSEA are keen on 16-year-old Olympique de Marseille central defender Boubacar Kamara.

The captain of the French club's reserve team is also being watched by Borussia Dortmund and Paris St Germain.

Marseille want Kamara to sign a three-year deal.

They are extremely concerned at the prospect of losing their brilliant teenager but are severely hampered by the fact that he does not have a professional contract.

Marseille will therefore be helpless in preventing the youngster from leaving should he receive a lucrative offer.

Chelsea would appear to be favourites to land Kamara given that he is said to favour a move to the Premier League. And PSG are scarcely renowned for bringing through youngsters.

Mind you, nor are the Blues but there does appear to a softening approach to the Chelsea youth system and boss Antonio Conte certainly doesn't want to pass up on the chance of signing one of Europe's brightest youngsters.
