GERARD PIQUE reckons John Stones is taking the same path as he did under Pep Guardiola.

Pique had a glittering spell under Guardiola when he returned to Barcelona and played for the current Manchester City boss.

Pique said: “I like the way he plays, his style is a bit like mine and it is difficult to play that way because in England the style of play is different.
“But Pep will help him a lot in terms of taking those controlled risks with the ball.”
