BOURNEMOUTH vs Hull was the 819th different Premier League fixture — and if their first meeting is anything to go by, we could be in for some excitement.

The pair shared seven goals at the weekend. Although, six were scored by the home side.

There are regular clashes which provide huge excitement, but which game has enjoyed the best attacking and worst defending?

SunSport looks at the seven fixtures which have produced the most amount of goals.

OF COURSE it is. The pair played out arguably the greatest Premier League game ever in 1996, sharing seven goals.

And they repeated the trick the following season with Liverpool beating their North-East rivals 4-3 again.

There was more at stake when they were both regularly challenging for the title in the 1990s — but it will always be one of the most anticipated fixtures on the calendar.

The pair have never shared a 0-0 draw only four times has there been just the one goal.

Newcastle vs Tottenham: 138 in 44

THIS is remarkable, given the Toon missed two entire seasons in the top flight.

Newcastle have been somewhat of a bogie team to Spurs.

On the final day of last season, they beat Tottenham 5-1 and even enjoyed a 7-1 thrashing of the North Londoners in 1995-96.

They, too, have never shared a 0-0 draw.

I THINK we know who the most entertaining teams in the Premier League have been.

Liverpool Tottenham, who have met in every season — including this one —almost always produce plenty of goals.

There have been 5-0s, 6-2s and 3-3s.

And, barring a 0-0 draw at Anfield later in the season, this will shoot into first place outright.

THE North Londoners have not shared a stalemate since 2009.

And even the earlier meeting that season finished in an epic 4-4 draw.

There was the infamous 5-4 win for the Gunners in 2004 and Arsene Wenger later enjoyed successive 5-2 wins over his side’s derby rivals.

They could be fighting for the title this season, which will only add to the excitement.

Everton vs Manchester United: 134 in 48

IT MAY surprise some to know that the Toffees are the team United have share the most goals with.

There has only been one 0-0 draw, with the highest-scoring clash the damaging 4-4 at Old Trafford in 2012.

Both sides have enjoyed 3-0 wins over each other in recent seasons.

As well as the 4-4 draw, there was a famous 3-3 clash which saw Everton score two late goals.

IT’S not difficult to see why Newcastle were known as the ‘Great Entertainers’.

There have been 5-0s, 6-0s and a 4-3.

The most exciting game of Louis van Gaal’s tenure was a 3-3 draw at Sat James’ Park.

In 2002-03, their two clashes ended in 5-3 and 6-2 wins for Man United.

Arsenal vs Everton: 131 in 48

THE battle between the side which has spent the most seasons in top flight and that which is enjoying the longest unbroken run.

Despite the amount of goals shared, the same cannot be said about points.

Everton have won just six times in the Premier League, with Gunners tasting victory on 29 occasions.

Those successes have included scorelines of 6-1, 7-0 and a few 4-1s.
