MANCHESTER CITY attempted to sign four Barcelona players in the summer.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the Premier League club were ready to make massive bids for Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Neymar and Sergio Busquets.
Pep Guardiola wanted to raid his former club for Luis Suarez and were ready to pay £90milllion for the striker.

But Suarez turned down the offer to stay at the club and the club are set to renew his contract.
City then went after Lionel Messi who was going through a trial for tax evasion.
But Messi decided to stay and to remain with the Catalan giants.
Neymar was next on City's hitlist.
Former Barcelona vice president Ferran Soriano who is now at the Etihad attempted to get the Brazilian by talking to his father.
