Newcastle and England legend Alan Shearer enjoys a drink and splash in Caribbean sea with daughter Chloe

HE might be an ex-professional, but Alan Shearer still looks like he could do a job for England.

The Newcastle legend showed he was in top shape as he holidayed in Barbados with his family.

Shearer, 46, looked relaxed as he sipped a drink alongside daughter Chloe, 25, on a luxuriously sandy beach.

The pair also decided to take a dip in the warm Caribbean sea along with Shearer’s wife Lainya.

They are all staying at the exclusive Sandy Lane Resort, a favourite hot spot for many celebrities.

And Shearer was snapped yesterday swimming out to a barge reserved for hotel guests as he donned navy trunks and wayfarer sunglasses.

Shearer is the current record Premier League goalscorer, finding the back of the net 260 times.

And last month a new statue of the Newcastle legend was unveiled, much to his delight.

Shearer tweeted: “Honoured to have my statue unveiled today in Newcastle. Thanks to everyone for their support during my career.”
