ROY KEANE condemned Manchester City's 'brave but stupid approach' as Barcelona humbled old boss Pep Guardiola.
Claudio Bravo's rash red card ruined Guardiola's Nou Camp return as Lionel Messi went on to bag a treble in Barca's 4-0 Champions League Group C win.
And pundit Keane claimed that match-turning moment when keeper Bravo mis-hit a pass and handled outside his area to stop a lob from Luis Suarez typified City's failings.
The ex-Manchester United legend told ITV's Champions League Highlights show: "City's approach to the game was very brave but very stupid as well.
"We can highlight the goalkeeper getting sent off but a few of the goals were from players guilty of over-playing in the wrong areas.
"That's the principle in football for a number of years.
"Everyone loves to see good football but it's your decision about when to play and when to clear your lines.
"Clearly City got punished for a number of mistakes they have made.
"The decision-making was all wrong."
