ROY KEANE condemned Manchester City's 'brave but stupid approach' as Barcelona humbled old boss Pep Guardiola.

And pundit Keane claimed that match-turning moment when keeper Bravo mis-hit a pass and handled outside his area to stop a lob from Luis Suarez typified City's failings.

The ex-Manchester United legend told ITV's Champions League Highlights show:  "City's approach to the game was very brave but very stupid as well.

"We can highlight the goalkeeper getting sent off but a few of the goals were from players guilty of over-playing in the wrong areas.

"That's the principle in football for a number of years.

"Everyone loves to see good football but it's your decision about when to play and when to clear your lines.

"Clearly City got punished for a number of mistakes they have made.

"The decision-making was all wrong."
