PATRICE EVRA has put aside his five-year feud with Luis Suarez to congratulate the Barcelona striker on his Golden Shoe achievement.
Suarez served an eight-match ban while at Liverpool after being found guilty of racially abusing Evra during a clash in October 2011 against Manchester United.
The Uruguayan later refused to shake hands with Evra before another Liverpool/United derby at Old Trafford, sparking outrage from the latter.

But Juventus defender Evra, 35, appears to have buried the hatchet with his old foe - by naming him the world's "best No9".
Suarez, 29, was awarded the prestigious Golden Shoe award on Wednesday for bagging a monstrous 40 goals last season.
And Evra posted a picture of the Barca ace holding his prize, captioned: "In my Instagram there is only love and never hate!!!
"Luis, you're a great player and the best number 9.

The Golden Shoe ranks top goalscorers in European leagues through a points system where goals in the major five divisions - England, Spain, Italy, Germany and France - are worth two points each, and those in lower leagues are worth less.
Suarez previously won the award back in 2014 after scoring 31 times for Liverpool.
When asked whether it was more difficult winning it with the Reds two years ago, he said: "The goals at Liverpool took us close to giving a Premier League to Liverpool but it wasn’t to be. It’s true that here I have team-mates who make things easier.
“We have the best team in the world. Our priority is to win the league and then to win the Champions League and the Copa del Rey and then if it’s possible to pick up these individual awards.
“Any striker loves to score goals but if you see someone in a better position then you do what is best for the team.
“They [Messi and Neymar] participate in nearly all the goals but it's not just about the strikers. If the ball doesn't come out cleanly from the back then it never reaches the forwards."
