Arsenal scouting 16-year-old Juventus sensation Moise Kean with youngster on verge of setting Serie A record

ARSENAL are stepping up their chase of Juventus' highly-rated teenage striker Moise Kean.

The Gunners are closely watching the 16-year-old and have sent their top scouts to watch the exciting forward in action for the Italian club's youth sides.

Fans of the Old Lady and the national side are raving about Kean, much like they were when Mario Balotelli burst on to the scene as a youngster.

And like the maverick Nice striker, Kean shares the same powerful football agent in Mino Raiola.

Kean is also on the verge of breaking a Serie A record.

An injury to Paulo Dybala means Kean could become the first millennial-born player to feature in Italy's top league in their upcoming fixtures.

, Kean will be in the squad for their next two matches against Sampdoria and Napoli and Arsenal scouts will be present in the hope he makes his senior debut.

He was an unused substitute in the Old Lady's 1-0 defeat against AC Milan but boss Massimiliano Allegri is expected to give him some minutes considering his terrific goalscoring form in the youth teams.

He scored 21 goals in 10 U15 games, 24 in 26 for the U17s and 10 in 21 for Italy's various national youth sides.

However, they may face some serious competition from both Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain.
