Blundering Newcastle fan prematurely celebrates EFL Cup victory with appalling tattoo… And even manages to get the year wrong

NEWCASTLE are enjoying a fruitful start to the 2016-17 season under Rafa Benitez, sitting top of the Championship as well as reaching the quarter-finals of the EFL Cup.

The tattoo read 'NUFC EFL Cup winners 2016' is arguably bad enough in itself given that Newcastle still need three more wins in the tournament to get their hands on the trophy - with giants such as Liverpool and Man United still in the mix.

But on top of that, the Toon-mad fan somehow managed to get the year wrong, having 2016 inked to his rear end, rather than 2017, with the final set to take place at Wembley in February of next year.
