Birmingham vs Aston Villa: Peter Enckleman in shock career move – he is now a sales executive for DHL
Enckleman sent Villa to a defeat by letting ball under boot
PETER ENCKLEMAN didn't always deliver for Aston Villa.
His most notable moment for the Claret and Blues came against bitter rivals Birmingham - letting a throw-in slip under his foot to hand Blues a derby win in the first league clash between the sides in almost 15 years.

But it turns out he IS now a specialist in delivery.
And that is because he has become a sales exec for DHL since hanging up his gloves!
Finnish keeper Enckleman joined Villa in 1999 from TPS Turku in his homeland.
And after three years largely sat on the bench he became Villa's first-choice stopper under Graham Taylor when Peter Schmeichel was sold to Manchester City.
But he infamously let a free-kick from Olof Mellberg slip under his boot and into the net as Villa went down 3-0 at St Andrew's in September 2002.
Rules state that the goal would not have counted had the ball crossed the line directly from the throw-in.
But it brushed his studs on the way in... and Enckleman never lived it down.
He was sold two seasons later and played for Blackburn and Cardiff following loan stints at both clubs.
He then went north of the border for spells at St Johnstone and Hearts, before winding down his career back in Finland with IFK Mariehamn.
