The Blues have recorded impressive wins against Hull, Leicester, Manchester United and Southampton following back-to-back defeats to Liverpool and Arsenal.

Even more impressively, Chelsea’s defence failed to leak a single goal throughout October, and their EFL Cup defeat to West Ham only means they have more time to rest and focus on the title race instead.

However, Everton are pushing for another charge up the table after ending their four-game winless run with victory against the Hammers at Goodison Park.
