ARSENAL fan Jeremy Corbyn is well up for this weekend's North London derby - he just doesn't know what day it's on.

The Labour leader could be heard talking football with Speaker John Bercow after PMQs on Wednesday lunchtime.

After Parliament had ended, a voice believed to be Corbyn's was picked up by the chamber's microphone system saying: "Now we've just got to beat Spurs on Saturday."

Bercow agrees, declaring: "Yes. Terribly important!"

Corbyn, realising his boob, corrects himself and says: "Sunday."

The 67-year-old politician is a known Gooner and once joked that the Queen also supports Arsenal.

Arsene Wenger's side enters Sunday's Premier League clash with Spurs three points ahead of their North London rivals.

A win for the Gunners would add a bit more daylight between the bitter enemies and keep their title push moving at full force.

Arsenal sit joint-top of the table on 23 points, alongside Manchester City and Liverpool.
