YAYA TOURE lent his VIP Manchester City box to Titus Bramble, Yannick Bolasie and Ashley Williams for Barcelona's visit on Wednesday.

The Everton pair - and former Newcastle defender - were given star treatment as Barca were humbled 3-1 by Pep Guardiola's City.

Instagram user leon_mann, seemingly a pal of Toure, posted a group picture of the footballers, captioned: "Lots of football knowledge in this picture.

Keep up to date with ALL the Manchester City news, gossip, transfers and goals on our club page plus fixtures, results and live match commentary.

"Pleasure to watch City v Barca with these top guys!

"Big up Yaya for hooking up the box."

Bramble added: "Thanks @leon_mann for looking after us tonight at the Man City Barca game.

"Good to catch up with @slpdining and good to see @YannickBolasie"

Toure has been omitted from Guardiola's Champions League squad this season but appears to bare no ill wishes towards his team-mates as he invited extra support for the match.

The result sees some pride restored to both City and Guardiola's record after Barcelona romped to a 4-0 win at the Nou Camp last month.

Bramble knows what it is like to be beaten by Barca after the Toon lost 2-0 at home to them in the 2002-03 season.

He was guilty of some shoddy defending that night and might have been forgiven for thinking the same result was on the cards on Wednesday, when Lionel Messi put the visitors ahead in the 21st minute.

But an Ilkay Gundogan double, either side of a superb Kevin De Bruyne strike, inspired City to victory.
