BARCELONA are ready to raid the Premier League for a new right-back as they prepare to dump outcast Aleix Vidal.
The Spanish defender joined the Catalan giants from La Liga rivals Sevilla last year in a £16million deal.
At the time, the converted winger was hailed as the perfect long-term replacement for club legend Dani Alves.
But he has made just ten league appearances since then and only featured ONCE this season – despite the Brazilian’s summer move to Juventus.
Barca boss Luis Enrique was reportedly kept in the dark about Alves’ shock move to Italy.
And, according reports in Spain, the Nou Camp chief has already given up on Vidal, 27, as a replacement for the six-time La Liga winner.
claims that Barca will sell the once-capped Spain international in January – as long as they can recoup a fee of around £10m.
Sergi Roberto has been filling in at full-back for the majority of the current campaign.

But the La Masia academy product is more comfortable in the centre of midfield – and Enrique is ready to spend big in the next transfer window on a specialist in the position.
Barcelona have been monitoring Hector Bellerin’s progress at Arsenal and are known to be keen to bring their former youth star back to the club.
The Gunners are desperate to tie the Spaniard down to a mega new contract – complete with a £40m buyout clause.
But no deal has so far signed, leaving the door open to a potential Barca swoop.
SunSport revealed last week that Enrique is also keen on Liverpool defender Nathaniel Clyne who they value at around £20m.
However the England international, 25, has four years remaining on his Anfield deal and Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is unlikely to want derail his side’s title bid by losing a key man mid-season.
