LUIS SUAREZ looks set to sign a bumper new deal at Spanish giants Barcelona.
The Catalan club have made tying the Uruguayan ace to a long-time contract a priority.
Manchester City chief Pep Guardiola would also be interested in landing the prolific striker, who has already bagged 10 goals this season.
But Barca president Jose Luis Bartomeu told Sky Sports: "We read, we listen, we see this news but of course, our interest in this particular case is that Luis Suarez is happy at Barcelona.

"For me, he is probably the best striker in Europe and we want him to be with us.
"Right now, we are trying to extend his contract with Barcelona and he is one of our big future efforts because he is still young, he has a vision, a lot of ambition.
"He is happy at Barcelona and together with Lionel Messi and Neymar, they are really very dangerous."
Barca recently handed Brazil superstar Neymar a new five-year deal and inserted a staggering £210m buyout clause during the last three years of the contract.
Argentina wizard Lionel Messi was also given a bumper deal in the summer.
Suarez, 29, has been sensational since his £75m switch from Anfield in July 2014.
The former Ajax star is keen to extend his stay at the Nou Camp and said: "They (the club and Suarez's representatives) are handling the renewal.
"It's really advanced and I can say it's on the right path.
"Both sides are in agreement and we're talking about a long deal."
