Michael Owen sparks sexism row following joke at Rachel Brown-Finnis’ expense on BT Sport Score
The former Real Madrid striker was left red-faced as he made an embarrassing gaffe live on air
MICHAEL OWEN is no stranger to facing backlash from fans as a pundit, and now the former striker has made another gaffe live on air.
Speaking on BT Sport Score where he was talking about this weekend's Premier League fixtures, the ex-Liverpool star made an inappropriate joke that he immediately regretted.
The 2001 Ballon d'Or winner attempted to make a joke out of a comment that ex-Everton Ladies goalkeeper and colleague Rachel Brown-Finnis said.
In referring to an incident during half-time, Owen decided to make a rude joke that "two-inches" make all the difference.

As you can see, Robbie Savage immediately covers his face with his arms, clearly embarrassed, whereas John Hartson couldn't help but look away.
Presenter Mark Pougatch tried his best to move the conversation on from the situation, but with awkward laughs surrounding the studio, Owen was again at the centre of controversy.
He recently has came out and said that Leicester forward Jamie Vardy is not a 'natural finisher'.
