Barcelona star Luis Suarez lands himself in bother again after crude gesture to fans

LUIS Suarez has landed himself in hot water after losing his cool in Chile.

The Uruguayan striker lost his head, not for the first time in his career, as he gave the finger to delirious home supporters after his side’s 3-1 defeat.

Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez stole the show on the pitch as his late brace secured a crucial World Cup 2018 qualifying win for La Roja.

After the match, Barcelona star Suarez was on the receiving end of some verbals from the victorious locals in the stands.

Unable to control his emotions, the 29-year-old raised his hand to slyly stick up his middle finger towards them.

But it was not slyly enough.

Snappers captured the action and  Chilean newspaper La Cuarta produced this fabulous front page.

Suarez will now be sweating on whether he faces action from Fifa, who may ban the ace for two matches.

The forward has found himself in trouble with the game’s governing bodies before during his storied career.

He received a four-month ban after biting Italy’s Giorgio Chiellini at the 2014 World Cup.

Previously, the Dutch FA had handed him a seven-match ban during his time at Ajax for biting PSV’s Otman Bakkal in 2010 and he followed that up by biting Chelsea’s Branislav Ivanovic in 2013 while at Liverpool – leading to a ten-game suspension.

it was a hot-tempered affair in Santiago, with Middlesbrough’s Uruguayan Gaston Ramirez also on the receiving end of some very personal attention from Chilean Gonzalo Jara.

Jara, who last year stuck his finger up the backside of Suarez’s international team-mate Edinson Cavani during Copa America, repeated the trick last night on the Boro attacker.

The result leaves Chile in fourth spot in the qualification table, while Uruguay are second and three points ahead of their rivals, although they remain four behind leaders Brazil.
