CHAMPIONSHIP clubs are charging their supporters more than some Premier League teams for away tickets.
The average price for match day tickets in England's second tier has gone up by 36 per cent in comparison to last year's Price of Football survey conducted by the .
The survey has looked at 223 clubs across Europe and calculates the amount fans have to pay for tickets, football shirts, teas, pies and programmes.

Have Championship ticket prices gone up?
The Championship has seen the biggest rise across the men's leagues in the UK as ticket prices have gone up by 36 per cent.
The average price of the cheapest ticket is valued at £22.11, which is a six year high.
Whilst the average for the most expensive ticket in the league is £36.13.
With the lowest ticket price in Premier League being issued by Hull and Liverpool for just £9, whilst Chelsea's cheapest ticket is the priced the highest at £52.
Are some Championship tickets more expensive than Premier League away tickets?
With the Premier League introducing a £30 cap for away tickets, it means it is cheaper for some supporters to watch their team play in the top flight than it is in the Championship.
With there being no cap in the Championship, the average price of the most expensive away ticket is £31.57.
Half of the 24 teams in the Championship charge more than £30 for an away ticket.
With those clubs being Aston Villa, Leeds, Newcastle, Norwich, Barnsley, Brentford, Brighton, Derby, Ipswich, Nottingham Forest, QPR and Sheffield Wednesday.
What is the highest and lowest price for Championship tickets?
The price of tickets in the Championship range from £15 to £30.
Leeds United and Ipswich Town have the highest priced 'cheapest' ticket, with seats being available to supporters for £30.
Whilst Birmingham and Huddersfield boast the lowest priced tickets at just £15.
Following relegation from the Premier League, Newcastle's cheapest ticket is worth £24 whilst Aston Villa's and Norwich's is worth £20.
Who has the cheapest and most expensive Championship season ticket?
Championship season tickets are at their lowest since 2013.
The average price for the cheapest season ticket is £322.83, with the price for the most expensive averaging at £568.15.
The lowest priced season ticket is at both Wigan and Huddersfield priced at just £179.
Whilst Norwich's cheapest season ticket is more than three times the value as it costs supporters £499.50.
What are the prices for pies, teas, programmes and football shirts in England's second tier?
The most expensive pie in the league would set you back £4 and these are sold at both Brighton and Fulham, with sixteen clubs increasing the price of their pies this season.
Burton Albion and Wigan sell the cheapest pie at £2.60.
And the most expensive cup of tea in the Championship is worth £2.50 at both Bristol City and Fulham - the joint most expensive in the UK.
Burton once again boast the lowest price with their tea being worth almost half the price at £1.30.
The price of matchday programmes in the Championship range between £3 and £3.50.
Leeds and Derby are alongside the majority of sides who value their programme at the lowest price point, with Aston Villa, Brentford, Brighton, Fulham and Norwich City being the only sides charging £3.50.
Burton have the lowest priced junior football shirt across all four , worth £22.50.
Whilst the most expensive adult shirt in the Championship belongs to Sheffield Wednesday, valued at £55. This is the same price Premier League sides Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham and West Ham charge for their shirts.
