Everton are the latest club in the race for the 16-year-old, who has been playing for his country’s Under-17 national side.

Viera’s Italian paperwork will make it easier for him to move over from Uruguay following comparisons to Brazilian striker Adriano when he first travelled over to Inter Milan.

But a move to the Premier League could be on the cards as his agent is English based Nick Maytum from TMG Football.

He is seen as a star of the future in South America but could move if Liverpool choose to cash in early.
