INTER MILAN are ready to pay an unbelievable £42.5million to beat Arsenal to Diego Simeone, according to reports.
The Italian giants are already on their second manager of the season after sacking Dutchman Frank de Boer.
Stefano Pioli is now in charge at the San Siro but he’s not expected to be retained past the season.

And Spanish newspaper claims Atletico Madrid boss Simeone is at the top of Inter’s wishlist after enjoying success with the club as a player.
The Argentine’s Vicente Calderon future is up in the air after dramatically agreeing to REDUCE the length of his contract.
Simeone continues to hint towards an Inter switch at some point in the future, despite being lined up by Arsenal as Arsene Wenger’s replacement.
And it’s reported the now-rich Serie A club will meet Simeone’s release clause at the end of the campaign – said to be worth a staggering £42.5m.
It would blow any other previous compensation settlements for managers out of the water.
And new Chinese investors Suning are also prepared to hand Simeone a huge transfer warchest in order to bring the glory days back to the club.
