SPURS are the only club to object to Chelsea coach Steve Holland taking a job with England.

The Blues assistant boss is wanted by England manager-in-waiting Gareth Southgate.

The ex-Three Lions Under-21s chief was yesterday snapped in talks with FA bigwigs over the role he has temporarily held since Sam Allardyce's departure.

And, as SunSport told you, Southgate wants Holland to be in his new look England staff.

But Spurs are objecting to Holland's involvement with the national squad on the grounds that he could receive inside information on players' fitness and abilities.

It is feared that Holland will then pass on that information to Chelsea when he returns to them.

No other Premier League team has a problem with Holland combining both roles.

Holland has made it clear to Chelsea he is fully committed to them as things stand.

And the Stamford Bridge side are yet to receive an official approach from the FA.

Antonio Conte's league leaders host Mauricio Pochettino's men in the evening kick off on Saturday.

Poch will aim to bounce back from last night's Champions League exit.
