Europa League round up: Inter Milan were stunned by Hapoel Beer-Sheva AGAIN after throwing away two goal lead to be dumped out of the Europa League

INTER MILAN were dumped out of the Europa League as they lost AGAIN to Hapoel Beer-Sheva 3-2 after they surrendered their two goal lead.  

Mauro Icardi put the Italians team ahead in 12 minutes before Marcelo Brozovic doubled Inter's lead in the 25th minute with the game looking done and dusted.

Beer-Sheva came out and scored just before the hour mark to half the deficit and then 10 minutes later Inter were reduced to 10 men when goalkeeper Samir Handanovic was sent off for bringing down Maor Bar Buzaglo and the resulting spot kick was converted by Tony Nwakaeme.

Ben Sahar sealed Inter's doom and completed a remarkable turn around that leaves the team from the San Siro season in tatters.

It was a bitter night for Southampton as they lost 1-0 to Sparta Prague and will now have to avoid defeat against Beer Sheva next week to progress to the Round of 32.

Fiorentina battled back from two goals down to pull it back 2-2 at home to PAOK Salonika only to lose the game in the 93rd minute as Rodrigues fired the ball in to the top right hand corner to stun the Italian club.

Ligue 1 leaders Nice lost to German side Schalke 04 2-0 in Germany as Yevhen Konoplyanka struck in the 14th minute before Dennis Agogo sealed all three points from the penalty spot in the 80th minute as its five wins from five for Schalke and sends Nice tumbling out at the group stage.

Wayne Rooney got on the score sheet along with lat weekend's goal scorer Juan Mata before an own goal by Brad Jones sealed Feyenoord's fate before Jesse Lingard made four in stoppage time.

Roma have progressed to the next round and are the Serie A team of the Europa League this season as they beat group's bottom team Viktoria Plzen 4-1.

Former Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko grabbed a hat-trick as Martin Zeman scored Plzen's consolation in the 18th minute.

Athletic Bilbao and Serie A side Sassuolo played a thrilling 3-2 scoreline in favour of the La Liga side.

Bilbao held on for the last seven minutes when Antonino Ragusa found the back of the net to make sure of a nervy finish but the Italians could not find the equaliser.
