Real Madrid wear one-off eco-friendly kit made from plastic Indian Ocean waste against Sporting Gijon
Each faded shirt is made from 28 recycled bottles by Adidas and the Parley for the Oceans campaign
REAL MADRID'S kit looks a little different in today's match against Sporting Gijon at the Bernabeu.
Both the badge and the sponsor are much more faded than usual, but it's all for a good cause.
The club and kit sponsor Adidas have teamed up with the Parley for the Oceans campaign to deliver the one-off strip.
Each shirt is made from 28 plastic bottles taken from the Indian Ocean.
That means in total 308 bottles have been taken out of the sea to make the kit for the Galacticos' starters.
Real Madrid left-back Marcelo said of the project: "The Ocean is a place I hold close to my heart after growing up in Rio de Janeiro and I have fond memories of playing on the beach when I was a kid.

"It's amazing to be part of this project and to know that the club I love is making a difference in helping to keep the oceans clean."
But the change in strip hasn't affected Cristiano Ronaldo's form.
Following his hat-trick against rivals Atletico, the Portugal captain scored twice in the first 18 minutes.
However Sporting Gijon have pulled one back to make it 2-1 at half time.
Parley claim that since 1950 the world has produced 6 billion tonnes of plastic, which would be another to cover the entire planet in a plastic blanket.
The kit is available to buy on Real Madrid's website for £60.
