THIBAUT COURTOIS will consider running down his contract amid interest from Real Madrid.
Chelsea want the Belgium goalkeeper to commit himself to a fresh deal at Stamford Bridge, with two full seasons on his current terms.
But he has told pals he will look at his future at the end of the next campaign, by which time Real will have completed their transfer embargo.
The Spanish giants are looking at Courtois, 24, as a long-term No 1 and a successor to current keeper Keylor Navas.
In 30 months’ time Courtois will hold all the aces if a new contract is not agreed, with clubs aware his market value will dip.
