Levi Colwill lined up for stunning Premier League switch as second club join Brighton in transfer race for Chelsea star
LIVERPOOL are looking to hijack Brighton's transfer move for Chelsea defender Levi Colwill, according to reports.
Colwill, 20, has shot to fame as a key member of the England under-21 team that won the Euros on Saturday.
But he has never played for Chelsea, having been on loan at Huddersfield and Brighton in the past two seasons.
And he could be hesitant about staying at Stamford Bridge next season, amid reports that he is wanted by Liverpool.
The youngster has spent his career at Chelsea since he was eight years old, and joined Huddersfield on loan in the 2021-22 season.
Colwill then went on to Brighton & Hove Albion last season, assisting the Seagulls to finish sixth.

His defending shined this summer as England's under-21's did not concede a single goal during the Euros.
The defender's heroics led Brighton to bid £ 30million but this has been rejected by Chelsea, according to reports.
Chelsea is having a summer of major transfer deals after finishing 12th but has been adamant Colwill is not one of them.
The Blue's new manager, Mauricio Pochettino is in an attempt to revive the club and has clarified Colwill as a part of the club's future.
