Kevin De Bruyne: Manchester City winger is on just £115,000 a week he’s nowhere near the top earners in the Premier League

Kevin De Bruyne is not in the same wage bracket as Sergio Aguero and Yaya Toure at the club

KEVIN DE BRUYNE is on just £115,000 a week at Manchester City making him nowhere near one of the top earners at the club, it has been claimed.

Sergio Aguero earns £220,000 along with Yaya Toure who was not even included in the clubs 25 man squad for the Champions League.

Football Leaks has reported the details of De Bruyne's salary, although he does have major bonuses in his deal.

David Silva earns in the region of £160,000 a week whilst Raheem Sterling takes home £180,000, with De Bruyne being one of City's most influential players it doesn't really add up why he is not in the same wage bracket.

One of De Bruyne's bonuses is bound to be performance based as well as a substantial pay out if Man City win the Premier League or Champions League.

However De Bruyne's wages will rise by £7,700 each season but until he signs a new deal it will be a long time before he is earning the same amount as the highest earner at the club.

The reason he left Chelsea under Jose Mourinho was because he could not force his way in to the 'Special One's' plans and he decided to leave for Wolfsburg.

Manchester City brought De Bruyne back to the Premier League for £55m in a stunning deal and the former Chelsea man has proved to be one of their best buys.

Pep Guardiola rates De Bruyne highly and he may now advise the club on giving De Bruyne a new deal.
