EVERTON are chasing a double swoop for Manchester United benchwarmers Memphis Depay and Morgan Schneiderlin.
Fresh talks were held in the boardroom before Sunday's 1-1 draw at Goodison Park over a January swap.
Depay and Schneiderlin are both available after falling down the pecking order under new Old Trafford chief Jose Mourinho.
Everton hope to take advantage of the Portuguese's ruthless streak as Ronald Koeman looks to spend his transfer kitty.
The Dutchman has around £60million available and has made compatriot Depay, 22, his main target.
United received several enquiries for the winger over the summer but wanted to recoup much of the £25m they paid PSV for a permanent deal.
Depay is expected to be made available on loan in January, with Roma among a number of clubs set to rival the Toffees.
The flop's agent Kees Vos also represents Kevin Strootman and has a close relationship with the Italian club.
Depay has played just 20 minutes in the Premier League, with Schneiderlin involved even less after being told he is not part of Mourinho's plans.
The Frenchman is frustrated with his lack of playing time and Koeman hopes to secure a reunion after working with the playmaker at former club Southampton.
