Veteran Welsh defender James Collins suffered muscular trauma in the 5-1 defeat to Arsenal on Saturday, and will not play for an unspecified period of time.

However, both Aaron Cresswell and Michail Antonio are back in the side after suffering groin strains.

The Reds, on the other hand, are hoping to welcome back Sadio Mane (knock) and Joel Matip (ankle) to the home match, who have missed one and two weeks respectively.

Liverpool currently have another four players out injured, with none expected to return before January.
